Heiltsuk Revitalization (Haíɫzaqv Nation)

Through a memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed on 30 April 2024, we are proud and grateful to work in respectful collaboration with Heiltsuk Revitalization and the Heiltsuk Tribal Council towards strengthening the Haíɫzaqv community's ongoing efforts towards language revitalization, preservation, and reclamation. This partnership continues and extends the work that Heiltsuk Revitalization and Typotheque begin together in collaboration in 2023, to successfully request three new characters to the Unicode Standard and ensure their publication in version 16.0 of the Unicode Standard, in September 2024.
