Greta Display

As one would expect from a complex type system, all versions of Greta include different numeral styles to cover all possible situations.

Proportional lining figures, which are most commonly used in newspaper settings, come as default figures in Greta.

Old style figures (also known as ranging figures) are available in Small Caps (SC) fonts or as an OpenType feature. Old style figures are more fitting in finer typography, as they are specifically designed to work well in running text, having the same proportions as the lowercase letters with their ascenders and descenders.

Tabular figures are for use in tables where numerals need to align vertically. These TF figures are available as a separate TF font or as an OpenType feature. Tabular figures have fixed widths in all weights. Our OpenType fonts include also old-style tabular figures.

Greta includes special small caps figures which integrate well with the height of small capitals.

Superior and inferior figures for use in fractions, footnotes, etc. are included in the expert fonts and as a feature in OpenType fonts.

Finally all Typotheque fonts also include a slashed zero, to avoid confusion between the zero and capital O.
